Inspection Guidelines
Inspection is the cornerstone of daily camp life.  Every morning a period of time is devoted to preparing the cabin for inspection.  All cabins are scored using a 10 point system.  That is, each cabin starts with the maximum of 10 points and points are deducted (usually in fractions) based on the guidelines described below.  Cabins that end up with a score of 8 or better are awarded an "excellent".  For Sunday inspection, cabins are awarded two "excellents" if they score 8 or higher.  Cabins that obtain a perfect score of 10 also receive double "excellents" (that means on Sunday a cabin could receive 4 "excellents").  For each division (i.e. Scouts, Braves, Warriors, Chiefs) the cabin with the most number of "excellents" at the end of the Summer is denoted as the inspection winner.  In addition to receiving recognition on the Lodge Wall, the winning cabins are usually treated to ice cream and a movie.
