| Clothesline | No dry clothes should be on the line. All articles should be facing the same direction and uniformly arranged (i.e. towels together, wash cloths together, etc.) |
| Cobwebs | No cobwebs, inside or out. |
| Screens and Sills | Clean, free from dirt, broomstraws, etc. |
| Grounds | Should be free of paper, broomstraws, and litter of any kind. |
| Wastebasket | Empty, no puddles inside. |
| Hanging Clothes | Should be uniformly hung (bathrobes togethers, raincoats togethers, etc.) and equally spaced. |
| Overhead Rack | Neat, extra blankets folded, should not look like a "catch-all". |
| Bunks and Blankets | Uniformly made, all with dustcovers the same length, all corners square, no wrinkles, no dust or straws on beds. |
| Trunks | Should be open and neatly arranged. No dust or sand on trunk bottom. (Counselors may leave their trunks closed). |
| Shoes and Laces | All shoes should be neatly lined up with laces untied and tucked in. |
| Shutters | Should be free of dust and dirt with nothing behind them. |
| Shelves | Should be neat and orderly, free from dust and dirt. |
| Lights | Off at the time of inspection. |
| Floor | Free of dirt and dust balls. |
